Just totally funny---most important is that most of the ads from the superbowl are already forgotten despite being funny and/or clever....This one is memorable !!!...and I can even remember and know what product was being advertised!!! .....and that normally doesn't happen with the bombardment of superbowl ads!! So would I consider an Audi despite me not being into the green thing??----yes-the car looked great!!

This commercial is great. It both promotes and satirizes the green movement so everyone gets a chance to be angry. The comments for these kinds of ads are always the most enjoyable to read because its fun to watch other people get so wound up.
Ask any government official: incentives and other encouragements only go so far. Then mandates take over. Under the threat of a loaded weapon, that is the ultimate force that government hints at. The Audi commercial takes us to that place, a place not too far off from present location.
Im buying all the incandescent light bulbs I can find, turn mine water heater higher and cut a Audi driver off in the morning on the way to work

This commercial made me so angry. I would never buy an Audi. Environmentalists do not like this ad. We would never condone "green police" but we need to think of our future and reduce our wasteful and toxic ways. Anything made with petroleum and other fossil fuels are a finite and toxic resource. Whether you believe in global warming or not that is not the point. We need to have our earth be sustainable and healthy for future generations.
Bottom Line---not a good ad for Audi---less likely to buy an Audi after seeing this ad. Orwellian politics is not a funny or happy prospect---we have already dealt with them in Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany---third time around might prove fatal to everyone.
And the word "progressive" means?????

Maybe this commercial is a little "far-fetched", but the fact remains, we HAVE to become more aware of what we are doing to our planet. And besides, if legislation like that is ever enforced, there won't be any of those products for us to be caught with anyway, right?? I mean , come on. Who is going to make black market foam or plastic bottles???? LOL

You are 100% on the money and I've allready heard Conservative talk show hosts talking about this commercial. I Believe we should all be scared because legislation is already underway to start this type of enforcement ! People won't find it funny when it's for real.
I agree with many of the previous posts. This commercial scares me to death! While I understand the satire it hits a little (no; waaaaaay too close) to our potential future if the progressives have their way!!!!
